An interesting point to note about designer office furniture is that just as one expects higher quality when purchasing designer jeans or a designer fragrance, furniture design or at least approved by top design houses is almost always built to a very high standard. And we should also remember that these famous designers, such as Tommy Hilfiger et al, became wealthy and famous for their ability to recreate common items in a special light. This is obviously not to say that pieces of furniture for the office created by the house of Chanel are necessarily superior. But I think one could safely assume that a Chanel desk or chair will incorporate into its elements the trademarked elegance that we would expect from Coco’s legacy.
Designer office furniture whether it is from Eddie Bauer or Bauhaus too will be marked by a distinctive look particular only to the creative forces of that design centre. Another point to adopt is that many of these top designers have been creating furniture of one kind are another for years and the incorporation of a designer leather couch into the office environment is certainly not a new concept.
